Multi Lingual Experienced Property Management Team
Karine using her wealth of experience and management skills gained in the Hotel service industry, as well as her fluent command of the English, Spanish and French languages, took control of a little known property management company owned by a prominent local business man at La Manga Club and turned it into, what today is probably recognised as the premier management company of the resort.
Simon who had already joined the property sales team of the same company, with an initial grounding of six months in property management, was able to experience the boom property sales period of the early part of this century and was responsible for a considerable amount of 'off plan sales' for the new developments of La Manga Club and Murcia's new sports and leisure developments. |
Hands On Experience - Purchasing & Developing Property

Having purchase a typical Spanish Finca with almost two acres of land, in a Spanish village on the outskirts of Fuente Alamo, they then set about the biggest project of their lifes, putting every spare moment into the re-design, construction and maintenance of the villa with a lot of the initial building work, re-wiring, pool construction and garden design of the property carried out by themselves, under instruction of course! Their home, now finished has been featured in several UK publications including Ideal Home, February 2007, Channel 4s magazine, A Place in the Sun, June 2007 and reportedly, articles have appeared in several in-flight magazines of airline carriers to the region. |
Development and Growth of Home Kare Home Services
With the hands on experience gained during the project and of recent, organisation of local Spanish suppliers and construction companies, Karine jumped at the opportunity offered to here at the start of the Hacienda del Alamo Resort by the developer; to set up and run a dedicated management company. Having quickly realised that an enormous amount of her personal time and energy would be require, decide that it would prove far more satisfy to work for herself, hence the birth of Alamo Property Services that subsequently became ‘Home Kare, home services inside and out with a play on Kare and ‘in side to form her name! Due to the growing success of Home Kare catering to a purposely limited number of Hacienda owners, Simon joined Karine in October 2007 and as well as assisting in the daily running of the company, he will be developing the property sales arm known as ‘Select Home Sales, already listings of their selection of properties for sale can be seen in a dedicated shop window display on the main street in Fuente Alamo.
A Family Run Property Managment and Sales Company
 Luca Charles George Bernard Parks-Arénare, ‘just’ four years old in May 2009 (almost 5 then?) plays an important role in the team, as well as accounting for well over half of their personal expenses, (a top executive in the making?) Luca is quite generous with his toys and will happily lend them to the children of owners who are not able to get absolutely everything into their suitcases, his baby walker being a recent hit with several under one’s! After a considerable amount of additional ‘work’ September 2009 saw the newest and youngest member of the family finally join ‘The Team!’ Maxim ‘Charley’ Parks-Arénare, a tad over three months old in December 2009 joins us on a daily basis in our HDA Headquarters and is always ready with a big smile (As long as he is not sleeping of course!)
Home Kare Offices at Hacienda del Alamo
The design and plans for the Home Kare office that will be based in the ‘Pueblo Español have been finalised as well as the requests for the various building licenses, their construction company are waiting with inpatients and now having had a final confirmation date for completion from the developer, Karine, Simon and Luca look forward to offering a warm welcome to you, old friends and new, to the new office, number 10, from the middle of June 2008.
